Our Business Standards

At VIP Driving School we take pride in the standard of our tuition, the presentation of our vehicles, our service and the relationships we build with our clients.

In Tasmania all driving instructors are required by legislation to hold a minimum qualification of Certificate IV in Driver Instruction and hold a current Driving Instructors Ancillary License which must be displayed prominently in the vehicle used for tuition.

All our instructors, apart from the above qualifications, are mature age drivers and have had many years driving a wide range of vehicles ranging from medium and heavy vehicles (buses and trucks), motorcycles and 4 wheel drives.

Some instructors, over many years, have had a close involvement with the Australian Institute of Advanced Motorists. The Institute is a non-profit organisation specializing in Advanced and Defensive driving courses for provisional drivers, the general public and corporate training for businesses and industry. Several of our instructors are also instructors and lecturers with A.I.A.M.
Several of our Instructors are accredited to deliver the Keys2Drive free lesson sponsored by the AAA and Federal Government. For details view www.keys2drive.com.au.

An industry body called the Australian Driver Trainers Association (Tas) Inc exists in Tasmania to promote excellence within the driving industry. All members are required to conform to a Code of Practice which specifies the standards relating to ethical business practice, presentation and training delivery (have a look at www.adtatas.com.au. All instructors at VIP Driving School are members of the ADTA (Tas)Inc. At VIP Driving School we are constantly up-grading both our range of services and skills and encourage feedback from our clients to identify ways we can improve what we feel is already the best driving tuition available in the state.

We make a commitment that:
(a) We will treat all our clients as individuals, with respect and dignity.
(b) We will not discriminate on the basis of race, religion or any form of disability.
